Unbelief can be one of the greatest enemies to our faith. As a matter of fact, in the book of Hebrews 3:12 The Word of God calls it an evil heart to be in unbelief. In Matthew 17: 15-20, here’s a story where a man who came to Jesus to cast out several demons out of his son and he told Jesus I brought him to your disciples but they couldn’t do anything.  Here, you got people walking with Jesus every day, witnesses the mighty miracles He performed, but yet, they didn’t tap into that Anointing because they were faithless and in unbelief. So Jesus called them a faithless and perverse generation. They were without faith and twisted the truth of God’s Word.  Jesus ask His disciples how long shall I be with you before you grow up and believe in me. God can only work to the degree that you believe.  So if you don’t believe, it may not be possible for you, but if “Tamike” believe it’s possible for her.  God is no respecter of person however; He is a respecter of your faith. The Word of God will work for anybody that will put it to work. Believing is our job and the doing is God’s job. Because of the fall of Adam man has been trying to do all the work, but once you come into the Kingdom of God we have been redeemed and the Word of God does all the work when you work the Word.  Living by faith is not an option for the Believer it is a way of life. God’s Word is the governing force of His Kingdom, and this Kingdom operates by faith. Faith is your currency transaction for Heaven blessings. Jesus was a preacher, teacher, and healer. He was a man always on the move to do God’s Will for His life.  He went everywhere healing all manner of sickness and diseases throughout all the regions, countries, cities, and villages performing mighty miracles. However, when He got to His hometown He could not do any mighty works there. Although, He wanted to and He was able to but He couldn’t because of the people unbelief. He was only able to heal a few sick people but no mighty works. Instead of believing Him they begin to examine Him and question Him (Matthew 13:55) so He couldn’t do any mighty works among the people in His hometown. God can only move according to your Faith in Him to believe.  So don’t allow unbelief keep you from receiving God’s best for your life. You have to stretch your faith pass the norm. Stretch your faith pass what the natural eye can see. He loves you and wants the best for you and I. Put your faith to work so God can use you on a greater level to reach multitudes of souls for the Kingdom of God. The Just shall live by faith.

So many people are surround by fear. Fear from family members, friends, love ones, the church, fear of failing, fear the future, and so forth. Fear will cause you to become a slave to anxiety and pressure. Fear will leave you when you know who you are in Christ Jesus. When you know that you are a child of the Most High God; you will be free and loose from everything that has kept you bind. Being in bondage to fear will cause you to miss out God’s best for your life. It’s will hinder the Will of God for your life. When you live in fear you’ll never step out to do nothing for God because you fear failure. You fear your critics. You fear the nay-sayers, and so forth. But when you get in the Word of God and know who you are in Christ Jesus fear has to leave your life.  You will begin to discover that you can do all things through Christ that strengthen you. You begin to see that you’re more than a conquer. You begin to see that greater is He that is in me than He that is in the World.  You’ll begin to know and understand that God has not given you the Spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.  

Fear, worrying, anxiety are tormenting spirits from the devil. The devil is afraid. He’s tormented and he wants to torment you. The devil is trying to create his mindset in you. Take for an example in the book of Exodus; the reason Pharaoh didn’t won’t to let the Israelites go because he became afraid as to who they would become. In reality he was really fearful of God’s Children and their power. He knew they were skillful and knowledgeable in all things. And because he was tormented; in return he tormented the Israelite children.  But God had to show Pharaoh that He is God and he had to let God’s people go. When you don’t know who you are in Christ Jesus you will be controlled by anyone and anything. It’s called a controlling and dominating spirit.  It’s not leadership it’s controlling-ship to keep you bound to the snare of the enemy. The ultimately goal of God freeing His people from slavery so they can be free to serve Him.  They don’t have to walk in fear.  He wanted to show them that He was their Father.  He wanted to give them the best. He wanted to bring them to a land flowing with milk and honey.  He love them so much until He was willing to do whatever He needed to do to set them free.  He fought for His children so you and I can be free.  That’s exactly what a father does right? He fight for His children. When you bombard your mind with the Word of God His Word becomes truth in your life and every lie the devil said about you have to leave. Staying in the Presence of God and in His Word the devil becomes totally dysfunctional in your life.  He becomes defeated. He’s utterly destroyed.  The same tricks he has always thrown at you will never work again because you’re so rooted and grounded in the Word of God. The Word of God will transform your mind. God loves you more than you’ll ever know and He wants the best for you.  And anything that’s not like God is a lie from the pit of hell. Fear is a bondage and you can be free from condemnation, shame, and guilty. Let it go so you can be free to do God’s Will. It’s about your identity in Christ and right standing with Him. When you know what God says about you people are no longer your problem anymore. Because you know who you are in Christ Jesus. You have to start seeing things as God sees it. And believe what God says about you. You don’t have to worry and you don’t have to fret when you know who you are in Christ Jesus. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). If God’s Spirit is not there it’s bondage.  God’s love for you is not based on people opinion of you. The enemy wants to bury you with fear and lies to make you think you are a nobody and you’ll never mount up to nothing. He wants you to think you’ll never walk out God Will for your life.  The devil is a lie and the father of lies. When you know the truth as to who you are in Christ Jesus it will set you free. (John 8:32).  The devil can’t take that away from you when you know in your knower.  Intensify your relationship with the Father so you can be free. He wants you to be free to serve Him. Regardless of what they may have said about you or think about you don’t allow it to cause you to walk in fear.  You are who the Word of God says you are. People can’t label you when you already been label by God. You been stamped and approved by God. So whatever the devil says about you is a lie.  Receive the Love of God and stop looking for love in all the wrong places. Let go of the fear and crossover. Just say, Father forgive them because they know not what they do.  You pray for them that God will begin to open their spiritual eyes so they can see who they are in Christ Jesus too. The truth of God’s Word will change your life forever. When you know what the Word of God says about you your life won’t be a temporary fix.  You become eternal life in Him. Whatever you fear will come upon you.  When you fear you give the devil access into your life.  When you believe the Word of God you give God access into your life. When you know and believe the truth of God’s Word it will set you free. Worrying all the time, depress, stress and so forth is nothing more than Fear.  And fear is design to paralyze you. It will paralyze your ministry. It will paralyze your marriage, your household, and it will paralyze the Will of God for your life. Don’t let the life of your past determine your future in God. Don’t allow your past failures and sins to hinder you and cause you to walk in fear. Take it as a learning stone and keep moving forward. If you repented and ask God to forgive you.  He has already forgiven you. Now you have to forgive yourself. And if the devil tries to throw a punch at you by bringing up your past again, throw a punch back with the Word of God. Let him know he’s so focused on your past until he can’t even see your future. He may try to throw everything at you to stop you, but he’ll never be able stop or knock you down because the Word of God wins every time.  Start seeing yourself as God sees you. Aim to please God and don’t look to get Praise from man. Because if you look to get Praise from man you set yourself up to be criticize by man. Free yourself from the spirit of bondage and release yourself to the Spirit of the Almighty God.

Our world is changing every day and many people are dying without Christ in their lives. WHO IS GOD? He is the living God of the Universe. He’s Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end. There’s no one before Him and there will be no one after Him. He’s Lord over all lords and King over all kings. He is a theocracy and not a democracy. He’s the only true and living God. HE’S I AM THAT I AM AND HE’S I AM FOREVER! He is HOLY and absolutely set apart and separated from all that is sinful.  The Bible teaches us that God in His absolute Holiness and unfailing mercy has provided a way for us to be saved and to come to a full knowledge of the truth. Isaiah 6:3   ³And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. John 14:6   ⁶Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. WHO AM I? Without Christ you are a lost sinner; and your heart is evil and wicked.  You stand guilty before the righteous Judge of all the earth and you are under the wrath and condemnation of a Holy God. Psalm 51:5   ⁵Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Romans 3:23   ²³For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; John 3:18 and vs. 36     ¹⁸He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.   ³⁶He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. 

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED? In light of whom Christ is and what He has done for us on the cross, it is your responsibility to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.  This means I must come to Christ and receive Him as my  Lord and Personal Saviour, in believing the following scriptures: John 3:16 ¹⁶For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  Romans 6:23    ²³For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1^st John 1:9    ⁹If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Romans 10:8-10    ⁸But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  ⁹That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   ¹⁰For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

• The Lord Jesus is the only Saviour. There is no salvation apart from Him. (Acts 4:12 and John 10:9)
• The Lord Jesus died and rose again for my salvation. (1 Thess. 4:14 and Romans10:9). You have to believe and confess Him as your Lord and Personal Saviour
• The Lord Jesus is able and willing to save me. (Isaiah 59:1)
• The Lord Jesus will save you if you trust Him and Him alone as your Saviour. Your spouse, your children, family members, job, and etc. cannot be your Saviour. They become an idol when you put them before the Lord. You have to trust Him and Him alone to be your Saviour.

HOW CAN I KNOW THAT I AM SAVED? Because God cannot lie. Salvation is total deliverance from the power and effect of sins.  Anything that goes against the Word of God is sin. There’s no true deliverance without Salvation.  Salvation is received by believing and confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Saviour. (Titus 1:2)    ²In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began.

WHAT MUST I DO NOW THAT I AM SAVED? When you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 10:9-10) it is your responsibility to grow and to keep on growing in the grace and knowledge of your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ so you can live a righteous and Holy life before the Lord. Here are some ways to maintain your salvation: (once save is always saved – not true – the bible says you must work out your own salvation) and you can do that by:  (Philippians 2:12)    ¹²Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  (2^nd Peter 3:18) But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

• As a personal testimony of your new life in Christ; be baptized in obedience to Christ command.
• Pray and read the Word of God on a daily basis.
• Find you a local church so you can get understanding of the Word of God through the man of God.
• Confess your sins to God (1^st John 1:9).
• Be willing to share Christ with others. In other word be a bold witness for Christ.
• Be faithful to the Lord and speak God’s Words only.
• Avoid gossiping that will cause strife and hatred. Be quick to forgive.
• Always walk in the love of God.

The storms of life that we encounter in our lives from time-to-time are design to get us off focus and out of the will of God for our lives. It’s important to stay focus and be committed to the mission God has given each of us to fulfill in this earth. The enemy will use anything or anyone to get you off focus and throw all kinds of distractions at you to keep you from moving forth. It’s a hindering force to stop you, but you must press on and through it all. Stay focus on the mission. He has a purpose for the mission. No matter how big the storm or how low the valley stay focused on the mission. Your mind is all over the place when you lose focus of the mission. In addition, you have no strength to keep pushing it. Your desire to press on begins to fade away. You lose interest and your faith begins to fail. Let your strength continue to be strong so you won’t fall in the day of adversity. When you lose focus your mind begins to wander in all directions. You lose sight of the mission.  You lose sight of the vision because now you’re thinking about all the cares of the world and the issues of life surrounding you. It is design to choke the Word of God out of you where your strength becomes small.  Be determine to stay focused at all cause. Pray without ceasing and stay in the presence of the Lord. And read the Word of God every day to avoid distractions. And there may be times you never know the directions the storms are coming from which is why it’s so important to put on the “Whole Armour of God” so you’ll be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Because we’re not wrestling against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers, the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.  You have to put on the “Whole Armour of God so you’ll be able to stand in the evil day. And as you’re standing on the Word of God, make sure your lions are girted about with the truth of God’s Holy Word and the breastplate of righteousness so your feet will continue to be sharp with the preparation of the gospel of peace. And through it all take on the shield of faith so you’ll be able to quench every fiery darts that is thrown at you. Because it’s the enemy that wants you to lose focus of the mission. Continue to watch and pray in the spirit with all supplications. And pray for others saints that may be going through too. However, when that enemy comes at you like a flood, you put on the helmet of salvation and cover yourself with the Spirit of God’s Holy Word so you can remain steadfast and unmovable always abounding in the good works of the Lord.  Stay focus on the mission (Eph. 6:11-18, 1 Cor. 15:58). Jesus stayed focused on the mission. He came to seek and save that which was lost. (Luke 16:10).  He lived every day to fulfill His mission. He didn’t let anyone or anything distract Him from doing the Will of the Father. In spite of what others thought of Him He was determined to fulfill the Will of God for His life. And He fulfilled the mission that was set before him. He said Father, I have finished the work you have given me to do (John 17:4). Just like Jesus did, you and I have to continue to remain focus on the mission so we can reach our destiny in fulfilling God’s Divine Will for our lives. We cannot allow the cares of the world to come and choke the Word of God out of us. Worrying about things that’s beyond your control is a distraction. We cannot allow the opinions of other people to distract us from moving forward. Seek God in prayer and stay focus.  We all have a mission in expanding the Kingdom of God, and in order to stay focus in fulfilling that mission, we have to run with endurance the race that is set before us. And look only unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Stay focus on the mission and run the race that has been set before you.

Acts 4:31, And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. Webster Definition of Boldness is a willingness to take risks and act innovatively; confidence or courage. Showing or requiring a fearless daring spirit. The Prerequisite for being a bold witness for Christ is to have confidence in the word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. Knowing this is your confidence in Him, which will empower you to be a “bold” witness for the Kingdom of God! Confidence is define as to have an inward certainty, to be convinced, a trust.  An assurance that stands firm upon a foundation that has substance and or boldness. Proverbs 3:26 says, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught and 1 John 5:14 “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will he hears us”. It’s through confidence in our Helper, the Holy Spirit that when we come into contact with someone, He will give us the words we need to speak, “Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer for I (Christ) will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist”(Luke 21:14-15) And In Psalms 118:8 it says, “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man”, man includes the fleshly part of you.  This is how we overcome the fear of failure by trusting in the Lord with all thy heart and leaning not unto thy own understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledging Him and He will direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We must remember that the Holy Spirit is on the inside of us. He is our helper. Call upon him to help you say the right things; he already knows what you are thinking.  Remember, the person may not receive salvation the moment you share the Word with them, have a farmer’s mentality like Paul.  He said in the book of 1 Corinthians 3:6, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase”.  So confidence in Jesus and the Word must always outweigh what we feel.  You may feel like you didn’t get through to that individual, but God has a plan and our confidence must be in God’s plan concerning that person’s life. One of the ways you can walk in confidence it to start by knowing who you are in Christ Jesus.  A good example is David.  While visiting his brothers and the Israelite soldiers on the battlefield, David listened as Goliath, the Philistine giant demanded an opponent for battle.  It was then that David asked an important question in 1 Samuel 17:26, he asked, “for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God”?  Basically, David was saying, look we are the promised people of the living God.  How can this guy think he could defeat the people who are in covenant with the Almighty God?  So walking in confidence means you must know what God says about you.  Know the promises of God and trust in them.  Later David asked permission of King Saul to challenge Goliath.  The king himself doubted that David could defeat the giant.  But David explained in 1 Samuel 17:36-37 “that the Lord had delivered him out of the paw of the lion and the bear and that God would deliver him out of the hand of this Philistine”.  This shows the inward certainty that David had in God.  Confidence to overcome feelings, emotions and bad thoughts can be defeated by remembering other trials and tribulations God has brought you through.  He is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. Remember God is the one in control. All we need do is yield to His leading and He will direct our steps.  For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.  (Acts 17:28, Galatians 1:16). The Greek word translated “boldness” means “outspokenness, frankness, plainness.” That word expresses the idea of “courage, confidence, and fearlessness.” Boldness does not mean bluntness, arrogant, or rudeness. It’s knowing who you are in Christ and His Power and Ability operating in you to move and speak boldly. While being bold, we also want to be peaceable with all. (Rom. 12:18) Also, as we minister the good news of God’s Kingdom know the difference between boldness and tactfulness (be considered and courtesy) so that you do not offend someone intentionally. This type of boldness does not come from within or from self-reliance. But this Holy Boldness comes from the Creator Himself as a result of us being rooted and grounded in the Word and filled with the Spirit of God. Matthew 10:20, “For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.  And because of the faith and hope we have in Christ Jesus We’re able to speak the word with boldness. 2 Corinthians 3:12
