Let’s Get Back In the War Room And Pray!
It’s time to get back to praying. Let the power of God’s Fire ignite in us to get back to praying like we use to years ago. When the enemy turn up the heat, you have to turn it up in prayer! When things are not going the way it should be going in your life according to the Word of God, an enemy has done this! Somewhere you gave the enemy access. Get back to praying and take the keys back. Take back everything the devil stole from you. You can no longer do things the way the world does it. The world says it doesn’t take all that! God says pray without ceasing! Because there’s a devil going around like a roaring lion seeking whomever he can devour. He come to still, kill, and destroy (1 Thessalonians 5: 15-18). We should never get slack in praying. Don’t stop praying. You can’t afford not to pray.

Christ Came to Seek and Save the Lost
Street ministry and outreach is something I have done for nearly 20 years. It has been and continues to be an enjoyable experience for me. I get a chance to meet people from all backgrounds of life and to be a yielded vessel for Christ. I’m always asking people “have you received Jesus as your Lord and Personal Savior. Many of them would say, “Well I go to church and I’ve been baptized”. That’s all good but going to church and being baptized alone does not qualify one for salvation. The person goes down as a dry sinner and come up as a wet sinner. If the individual never believed in their heart and confess Christ with their mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead, according to Romans 10: 9 and 10, the person still not saved. I’m reminded of a situation that happened to me years ago. I visited this particular church because I knew something was missing in my life and me not knowing I needed a Savior at the time. However, at the end of the service the pastor asked the congregation to check with the person next to them to see if they were saved or received Jesus as their Lord and Personal Savior? And if not, to extend the invitation for them to receive Him. Well, the person who was in a leadership position asked me if I was saved? I said “I don’t know if I’m saved or not” I said “what do you mean saved”? Sad to say, the gentlemen couldn’t tell me what it meant neither could he lead me to Christ. All he did was hold my hands and smiled in my face. I stood there amazed saying to myself “are you going to tell me”. However, he kept on smiling. He was smiling and I was confused! So I left the church lost and confused even the more.
So many people today feel the same way I felt years ago! Lost without a Savior! They go to church on a regular basis; they have been baptized, sing in the church choir, serve on the usher board, and or serve in different areas of the ministry, but yet they really don’t know what it means to be saved or even if they are saved themselves. Growing up in the church the few things I can remember is that I had to pay church dues, join the church, and or sing in the choir. Nothing wrong with all of that and etc., because the seed was planted, and I thank God for the elderly women of the church that took the time out of their schedule to make sure my sister and I was at church every Sunday. And my precious Granny who made sure we were all well dressed and ready to go on time. I don’t take any of that for granted. However, we can’t leave out the most important part of the message (Salvation). Because there’s no true deliverance apart from Christ!
Salvation is deliverance from the power of darkness (sins). Deliverance from everything that goes against the Word of God. The Greek word for Salvation is “soteria”, which means deliverance, redemption, safety, preservation, or defense. To be totally delivered from the power and effects of sin and translated into the light of God’s divine protection through His Son Jesus Christ. It means to repent! You change your heart, mind, and directions to the things of God and His Kingdom! Salvation is God way of thinking and doing things. Being Kingdom Minded. The individual has to believe it in their heart and confess it with their mouth Romans 10: 9-10, and begin to apply the principles of God’s Holy Word to our everyday lives.
To continue…I was reading a story once where God showed this person in a dream (true prophetic vision) that many people (people who went to church on a regular basis) believed they were saved and going to heaven. The Lord showed the person that some of them had never given their life to Christ. They were deceived into thinking just because they went to church, sang a song, and listen to the Pastor, they would be safe from that place called hell (eternal darkness). Some thought they were saved because they were good people or had given to the needy. In the dream, she stood in horror watching people slide off a dump truck into a big black hole.
As they fell into the hole, they screamed for help as burning and in agony and terror on each face. She turned the other way and looked up to see Jesus with His hand on the shoulder of a man. She somehow knew the man was a Pastor. This Pastor was very happy because Jesus was taking him into heaven. Just then, Jesus turned him around so that the Pastor could see the people (the lost souls in the black hole). The Pastor’s smile then turn to tears when Jesus said, “these are the ones you didn’t tell the truth about Me when you had the opportunity to lead them to Me. The Pastor received Jesus as Lord; however, he never extended the invitation to the congregation (the flocks). He preached a good shouting sermon but many of the flocks were still lost. They never believe and confess Christ! Jesus came to seek and saved the lost. In addition, to altar call for prayer and joining the church, it’s very important to extend the invitation for Salvation to the people. Lead them to Christ! Do not assume that everyone in your congregation is saved. You might have visitors who came for that purpose just like I did years ago to give their life to the Lord but the invitation was not extended, and or the person in leadership position didn’t know how to lead the person to Christ. The mandate was given to every born again believer! Can you imagine how that person might have felt when they left the church? They felt good for the moment, but as the hours pass, the darkness is still there. I encourage you to open the doors of the church for Salvation. I have come across too many people who has never confess Jesus as their Lord and personal savior. Especially those who goes to church on a regular basis. They all have the same story. Jesus went to the cross that all would be saved and spend eternity with Him. Let’ not His work be in vain! Lead that lost soul to Christ! Romans 10:8-13.

Renewing the Mind
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal savior we take on the nature of God. Every quality and characteristic that He has is deposit in each of us the moment we acknowledge and receive Him into our lives. This is not something that we can see physically, but it’s the unseen realm of our spirit that the Seed of God is planted. 1 Thessalonians 5: 23 – And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Man has a spirit, he has a soul, and he lives in a physical body. The spirit, the soul, and body are not the same. They all have different functions. With my body I contact the physical realm. Through my body I contact things that are in this physical World. Through my spirit I contact the spiritual realm, the things of God, the presence of God and the power of God. And with my soul I contact the intellectual realm with my emotions, my feelings, and my thoughts. Each one has a different purpose, each has a different function, and each one of them must be in harmony with God’s Will. Hebrews 4:12 says, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
So you see, there’s a different between the spirit, the soul, and the body. Even the scripture reference the fact that the Word is what separate the spirit from the soul and divides asunder the joints and the marrow. Each one has these three parts that comprise our entire being. When we made a decision to receive Jesus (Yeshua) as our Lord and personal Savior it was our spirit that was born again. It’s the part of man that receives eternal life which is the nature and life of God. It is the spirit of man that becomes a new creature in Christ Jesus. Our Spirit becomes alive to God. It’s no longer dead or do it have that nature of sin on the inside. It’s re-created. It’s made new again. That’s what takes place in our spirit. The Soul and The Body that’s something we have to work with and begin to renew. Renewing of the mind is an on-going process. Your mind did not become new when you received Christ into your life. You had the same mind. Your mind has to be renewed. Ephesians 4: 23-24 (RSV) And be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Before you can put on the new nature, you first have to take off the old nature by renewing your mind to the things of God. Meditating in the Word of God day and night. In order for things to change in your life there must be a spiritual renewal of the way you think, the things you say, your attitude, and the things you do. Philippians 2:5 say, Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. In other words, your attitude should be the same as Christ. The only way you’re going to know the attitude of Christ is by spending time in the Word of God. You have to spend time with Him. It’s your instructional manual (Holy Bible) for living. The battle starts in your mind. When the Word of God renews our minds, we will overcome the negative thoughts and ways of doing things. Our thoughts will line up with God’s thoughts which is the Word of God. Renewing the mind is more than just hearing the Word and reading the Word. It’s more than just a gathering of new information into our brain. Renewing the mind is changing. Many people believes renewing the mind is just collecting new ideas, getting new knowledge, and understanding, but it’s not that alone. Renewing the mind is all about changing. It’s a revelation as to who God is and who you can become when you renew your mind to the thoughts of God. Although you read your Bible and go to church regularly, but yet continue to sin every day you are not allowing the Word of God to catch root in you so you can begin to change. Renewing the mind is all about changing. Changing to the ways and thinking of God. You have to begin to act out on what has been imparted into you. You have to make the first step. God can’t make you change. Renewing the mind is more than just a religious motion. It starts with you. You have to begin to transform to the things of God and not the World. The areas where we disobey God are the areas we need to renew our minds. You may be saying Lord I want to change, help me to change. You can change when you begin to renew your mind about the way you think, the things you say and do. We have to change our thinking about how we see things. You have to desire to change. Your mind can work for you or it can work against you. The battle is in the mind. The words that we speak are alive and powerful. Paul said in Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. You have to begin to fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. If you’re thinking of things outside of that begin to cast that thought down immediately because your thinking is not lining up with the Word of God. You and I are constantly growing in our dedication, consecration, and commitment to the Lord. If we are committed to Christ, our lives are being changed into His likeness. Peter was fearful and denied Christ three times, but God changed Him into a powerful preacher of the Gospel. Paul was murdering Christians thinking he was doing God a favor; but God changed him into a mighty teacher and writer of the Word. The more time we spend with God, the more our mind will change and see how wonderful God is. And the more we see how wonderful He is, the more we love Him and want to do what He asks us to do. We have to begin to live a life that is pleasing to God and not a life that is pleasing to this World. Sometimes our motives can be wrong when focus more on pleasing our friends or this World when we should be focusing on pleasing God. When you trust the Word of God and make a quality decision to renew your mind to the things of God, your lifestyle will begin to change. Receive the fullness of God and begin to renew your mind today! The Father will be right there to help you along the way.

Being Willing and Obedient to God
Many people desire the Will of God to be fulfilled in their lives, but many are not willing to obey God when He gives instructions to do a certain thing or things. We say, “Yes Lord, I’ll do Your Will but let me tell you how I want to do Your Will.” So we find ourselves in prayer, praying the same thing over and over as though God is not speaking. God is speaking and has spoken; however, sometimes it may not be what we want to hear because of fear God will change our plans, and yes, He will change it if it doesn’t line up with His plan for our lives. We have to line our agenda with God’s agenda, for “our thoughts are not God’s thoughts and our ways are not His ways, and His way is the best way because it’s His Will.” When we’re willing and obedient, we shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah1:19).
We can avoid the pit falls in our lives if we hearken unto the voice of the Lord and obey Him. We have to be ready to act gladly without any grudges when God gives us instructions to do something. When God told Abraham to take his only son Isaac and offer him up for a burnt offering, Abraham didn’t wait around wondering if it was God or not. Abraham got up and began to move in action. He didn’t go around asking his cousin Lot or other people, “Do you think God want me to do this or that?” Abraham trusted the voice of the Lord. When we’re in obedience to God, we have to be in submission to Him and then express that submission in actions. To be obedient is to be in agreement with God. James 1:22-25 says: “For if a person just listens and doesn’t obey, he is like a man looking at his face in a mirror; as soon as he walks away, he can’t see himself any more or remember what he looks like.” Then he says: “But if anyone keeps looking steadily into God’s law (the Word) for free men, he will not only remember it but he will do what it says and God will greatly bless him in everything he does.” Jesus walked in obedience when He offered His life for you and me, and as a result God gave Him all power and authority. We should want to obey God and please Him in every area of our lives. He said if you love me you will keep my commandments. Whatever God has called you to do, know that Christ will strengthen you to do His Will. It will be Christ who strengthens you; not man nor your own ability. It’s His Will; therefore, God will provide you the strength to do His Will. God will not call you to do something and not give you the strength to do it. Disobedience can bring the storms in your life or even possibly cost you your life. So harden no your heart and obey the voice of God today!

THE NEW BIRTH: JOHN 3:1-21 NLT
There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again. ‘The wind blo
ws wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.” “How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked. Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”

There’s No Deliverance Without Salvation
In Genesis 1:27, God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. In Genesis 2:7, the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Many times we quote these two scriptures over and over, but how many really understand the significance of the two? When God created man (meaning of no a gender), it was in the mind of God (the Spirit of God). He was thinking about a new innovation, a new creation, someone He could create in the nature and essence of Himself. In other words, He wanted to plant himself all over the world until everywhere we go people would see Him and not us. He wanted us to represent Him. So when God thought it was good to make man in His image, He began to shape man into a spirit living being to dominate in the earth. Man is a spirit, he has a soul, and he lives in a physical body. (1 Thess. 23)
Because of the fallen nature of man, Adam and Eve committed high treason against God; since then, every person born into the world was born into sin. Nothing we did of our own, but the attributes and the things we do that goes against the Word of God brings about the sin nature; we’re thinking and doing things in a sinful way knowingly and unknowingly.
Jesus paid an awesome price when He went to the cross to die for all humanity; therefore, you don’t have to remain in a sin nature if you receive Him as your Lord and Personal Savior. Jesus didn’t die for a certain group of people or different religions, Jesus died for the World (John 3:16) that all might be saved. Salvation is deliverance from everything that goes against God’s word, and there is no true deliverance without Salvation. Jesus is the Savior of the world. He is the Corner Stone the builders rejected. He’s the one holding every part of this world together. He said if my people will humble themselves and pray; then He will heal the land. Pray for what? Pray that all men will come into repentance and into the knowledge and saving grace of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the alpha and the omega, He’s the beginning and the end, and deliverance is in Him, not in the human knowledge of this world or mankind.
There’s no deliverance without Salvation. Romans 10: 9-10 says, “If thou would confess with thou mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, thou shalt be “Saved”. For with the Heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto Salvation.” This is a twofold requirement. You have to believe it in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and you have to open your mouth and confess it. Believing and confessing take place by faith. When you believe and confess, immediately an inward (spirit man) changes into the image of God’s Spirit. There’s nothing missing and nothing broken when you have Him: no sickness, no disease, no lack, and etc., but you must get in Him by giving Jesus your life today and allowing Him to transform your thinking with the Word of God.

PREPARING THE SOULS FOR CHRIST RETURN THROUGH LIFESTYLE EVANGELISM
The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age – Mark 13:3-13New King James Version (NKJV) 3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately, 4 “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?” 5 And Jesus, answering them, began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 6 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. 7 But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet.8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles.
[a] These are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 “But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought[b] before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations. 11 But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate[c] what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. 12 Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 13 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. No One Knows the Day or Hour – Mark 13:32-36New King James Version (NKJV) 32 “But of that day and hour no one knows (but He didn’t say you couldn’t know the season), not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping.

A pray less life is a defeated life. When trouble is all around you check your prayer life. Are you praying like you use too when you got your first breakthrough or did you get your breakthrough and then you said you was through? Don’t you know what you did to get that first breakthrough you will have to continue to do the same thing for future breakthroughs? Never get to a point where you feel like you have arrive without prayer. Prayer has to become a lifestyle and not something we do every now and then. If I can add, we really should be living a life of fasting and praying. Because Jesus said some things require fasting and prayer. When you’re living a life style of fasting and praying your spirit is in tune with God’s Spirit. You can hear from God clearly. You can think clearly. You have a keen spirit whereas you’re sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. When the attacks and storms of life comes your way, you’re better equipped to handle it when you’re plugged into the power of prayer. Prayer changes everything. When you live a life of fasting and praying you’re not ignorant of Satan devices. Exactly what is prayer? Prayer is our direct communication line with heaven. It grant us access to God. Prayer is the process that allow us to talk to God and God talk to us, and we hear Him. It involves praying the Word of God. Saying to God what He has already said to us in His Word. Prayer is a divine connection with the Father. Spirit to Spirit. Your spirit bear witness with the Father’s Spirit and His Word. It’s a time of meditation and concentration. It’s in the presence of God where God is going to speak to you. It’s in His presence where He will give you clear directions and instructions concerning the will of God for your life. It is in His presence He rebukes and correct you because He loves you. In His presence He comfort and strengthen you when you’re going through. When coming to God in prayer it’s important to make sure we cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. Perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1). Otherwise, our prayers will not be effective. As the psalmist writes, if I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me. (Psalm 66:18). The Scripture tells us … therefore that men pray everywhere lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting. (1 Timothy 2:8). People in the Bible prayed during battle, in a cave, in a closet, in a garden, on a mountainside, by a river, by the sea, in the street, in Hades, in bed, in a home, in a prison, in the wilderness, and inside a fish. There’s no reason as to why you can’t pray. You have to make time. Daniel prayed to God three times a day. We should pray for each other. Jesus set an example for us on what to pray. He prayed for His disciples and for every generation to come that would follow Him. His prayer was that God protect and strengthen them as long as they were in this world. Jesus also prayed for those who would come to believe in Him through the Gospel message (
Because whatever you allow God allows it! The bible also tells us to watch and pray! Many of us are watching but we’re not praying. When you’re prayed up you’re strong in the Lord and in the power of His might; therefore you take on the whole Armor of God so you’ll be able to stand in the evil days when the enemy throws his attacks on you. Because the attacks, storms, and persecutions will come. It will form but is shall not prosper when your loins are girted up with truth and you have on the breastplate of righteousness. In prayer your feet will be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. In prayer you take on the shield of faith where you’ll be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. It is In prayer you put on the helmet of Salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God. In other words, if the devil even thinks about coming near you or your family; he will blow up! Because you’re like a talking; walking; atomic bomb ready for battle with the sword of the spirit. Therefore, pray always with prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all Saints. (Ephesians 6: 10-18) Prayer now days doesn’t seem to be a necessity for many which is a trick of the enemy to make you think you can do it without God. Not so! It’s to a point whereas people can’t even seem to pray for 15 minutes yet alone an hour. The way things are in the world today we must pray without ceasing. We’re dealing with big demons from day-to-day. Spiritual wickedness and principalities in high places. It’s bigger than you and I! It is a necessity to labor in prayer! When you are a person of prayer, no weapon formed against you will be able to prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The weapon may form but is shall not prosper! A praying person shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. You will continue to always flow in the Anointing of God with Power; Holy Boldness; the Fire of God; Grace Anointing; the Wisdom of God; the Strength of God; Increase Faith, and Divine revelations that flows from God when you live a consecrated prayer life. You will bring forth your fruit in your season. Whatever fruit you’re supposed to bear in your season it will come forth. Your leaf shall not wither. You will never dry out or run out because whatsoever you do it shall prosper! Let’s get back to praying and empower yourself in the War Room!
