The “heart” of man is the spirit of man. Therefore we trust God with the heart (Proverbs 3:5-7). Peter calls it the hidden man of the heart (1 Peter 3:4). The Word of God is still true today just as it was when Jesus walked the earth. The Word was made flesh. When you agree with the Word of God you can be healed by the Word, you can be saved by the Word, you can have peace by the Word, and you can have joy by the Word. Don’t believe according to your head or the five senses. Believe with the spirit man of your heart. Amos 3:3 asked the question, can two walk together except they be agreed? Often time when we hear or read this scripture the first thought that come to mind is that we think about people who are married. That is true in itself, but it’s not talking about married couples alone. The scripture also applies to other things such as family members, friends, business partners, and etc. Have you ever thought about that scripture as it relates to your relationship with the Lord? I hear people say all the time
I believe God! I believe God! In order to truly believe God in your heart (the spirit man) we must agree with what He says. We have to agree with His Word. God and His Word are true! It can be very difficult to be in agreement with someone if you’re not sure what each other are thinking. We have to read God’s Word daily in order to know how God is thinking in order to agree with Him. Once you start reading and studying God’s Word on a daily basis you’ll begin to align your thoughts with God’s thoughts. This put you in a position to believe Him. And when you believe what God says, it is so! Your prayers will be answered because you believe! We make contact with God with our spirit not the human mind or our five senses. God is a spirit; therefore those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). We must trust the Lord with our spirit not the understanding of our natural minds (Proverbs 3:5-7). We have peace within when we believe (agree with God), trust in, and rely solely on God (Hebrews 4:3; Philippians 4:7). The physical body is designed to believe the senses. However, the spirit is designed to believe the Word of God. God and His Word are one. When we believe His Word we agree and believe Him. Therefore, believing with our spirit is believing beyond what the senses detect. We must decide to believe God (with our spirit) every day regardless of what we may be going through. In addition, we must watch the words we say because our words feed our spirits (Ephesians 4:29). In Mark 9:23, Jesus said unto him “if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23 tells us to believe and have faith in God, For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” When you agree with what God says, then you will believe what you are saying because your thinking and thought process are now lining up with the Word of God. Then you will receive what you are saying! Saying what we believe from the Word of God produces great results. Spiritual things manifest into physical things. How do you believe with your heart? Agree with God and His Word! How do you agree with God? You say what God says, and when you say what God says, you will have what YOU say!

I was reading a story once where God showed this person in a dream (true vision) that “many people (people who went to church on a regular basis) believed they were saved and going to heaven. The Lord showed the person that some of them had never given their life to Christ. They were being deceived into thinking just because they went to church, sing a song, and listen to a pastor, they would be safe from that place called hell (eternal darkness). Some thought they were saved because they were good people or had given to the needy. In the dream / vision she stood in horror watching people slide off a dump truck into a big black hole. As they fell into the hole they screamed for help as burning and in agony and terror on each face. She turned the other way and looked up to see Jesus with His hand on the shoulder of a man. She somehow knew the man was a pastor. This pastor was very happy because Jesus was taking him into heaven. Just then Jesus turned him around so that the pastor could see the people (the lost souls in the black hole). The pastor’s smile then turn to tears when Jesus said, “these are the ones you didn’t tell the truth about Me when you had the opportunity.” The pastor received Jesus as Lord, but he never extended the invitation to the congregation (flocks). He preached a good shouting sermon but many of the flocks were still lost. They never believe and confess Jesus. Jesus came to seek and saved the lost. Do not assume that everyone in your congregation is saved. You might have visitors who came just for that purpose to give their life to the Lord, but the invitation was not extended. Can you imagine how that person might have felt when they left your church? They felt good for the moment, but as the hour passed the darkness is still there. I encourage you to open the doors of the church for Salvation. I come across too many people who have never confess Jesus as their Lord and personal savior, especially those that go to church on a regular basis.. They all have the same story. Jesus went to the cross that all would be saved and spend eternity with Him. Let’s not His work be in vain! We have been given the same mandate as John the Baptist as he baptize and won many souls to the Kingdom of God. The Harvest is right but the labors are few. My prayer is for God to send more labors into the harvesting field. God bless you. Tamike Brown
Even though He worked great miracles, raised the dead, healed the sick and set the captives free, He had no problem washing the feet of His disciples. And do you know what makes you excellent in God’s Kingdom? Is being a servant. Servanthood must be the distinguishing mark of every Believer. Jesus said in
The punishment for disobedience to this law was also clear: “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surelybe put to death. Their blood shall be upon them” (Leviticus 20:13). After the conquest of Canaan an incident much like that which occurred in Sodom took place in the city of Gibeah. The men of the city surrounded the house of one of its citizens demanding, “Bring out the man who came to your house, that we may know him carnally!” (Judges 19:22). This bizarre incident led to the man giving his concubine to the men of the city, whom they raped, abused, and killed. This uncontrolled lust led to a national war. Many in the religious world have misunderstood the fact that Jesus never addressed homosexuality directly to be a sanction for its practice in the Christian age. Nothing could be farther from the truth! As proof of this consider two points: 1.) Homosexuality is fornication and 2.) The apostles taught the Lord’s commandments. In Matthew 15:19 and Mark 7:21 Jesus includes within a list of many others sins “fornication” (“sexual immorality” NIV). He draws the conclusion at the end of this list, “All these evil things come from within a man and defile a man” (Mark 7:23). The same word is used in Matthew 19:9 and Matthew 5:32 in which Jesus grants (as the sole cause for divorce) that “fornication” is a justifiable reason to put away one’s mate. The word translated “fornication” is the Greek word porneia. According to Thayer it means “Illicit sexual intercourse in general” (532). The Bible makes it clear that while Jesus was on earth He was in full compliance with the teachings of the Law of Moses (Galatians 4:4, Hebrews 4:14,15 and Matthew 5:19). When Jesus condemned “fornication” He condemned all the Law of Moses defined as fornication, including homosexuality. Further, it is clear that Jesus promised that after His departure the Holy Spirit would be given to His disciples to guide them “into all truth.” (John 16:13). Even when the Apostles taught they could say, “…The things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 14:37). That being the case, it is abundantly clear from the writings of the apostles that homosexuality is condemned. The Apostles’ Doctrine: The book of Revelation condemns “fornication” seven times. Revelation (2:21; 9:21; 14:8; 17:2,4; 18:3; 19:2). The Apostle Paul spoke eleven times of “fornication. (Romans 1:29; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:13,18; 7:2; 2 Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3). Further, some of the most clear statements in the Scripture condemning homosexuality are made by the Apostle Paul. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 he includes “homosexuals” and “sodomites” in a list of those who “…Will not inherit the kingdom of God.” In 1 Timothy 1:10 Paul describes the behavior of fornicators and sodomites as that which, “Is contrary to sound doctrine.” In Romans 1:24-27 Paul traces the thinking which leads people into such practices describing it as “vile,” “against nature” (1:26), and “shameful” (1:27). All of this makes it abundantly clear that a person cannot participate in this type of behavior and have any hope of eternal life with God.
The Word of God tells us to compel them to come. It’s never too late for healing and deliverance. God wants to save them from the destruction that lies ahead. It’s time to go beyond the four walls of the church and snatch these souls out of darkness. If we’re going to reach people for Christ why not reach out to those individuals that are struggling with this sin. It’s a huge population and the enemy continues to spread this deadly disease like wildfire! It’s a big deception to make the people think it’s ok to live this life style. We talk to, laugh with, and smile in their faces every day to make them think they are heaven bound when they are hell bound. If they don’t repent and turn to Jesus for help they’re headed in a direction called “Broad Wide” that leads straight to pit of hell where they will spend eternal life. God didn’t tolerate this sin back then He’s surely not going to tolerate it now. We must do the “Greater Work”. This is the “Greater Work” that we have been commission to do. Jesus said He came to seek and save that which is lost.
