THE GREAT COMMISSION

Fulfilling the Great Commission in Mark 16:15 is the single most important task of the church.  However, today it is look at as the least important task in many churches.  God is after souls. It is the number one reason why He sent his Son to die on the cross. He said to preach the gospel.  Lead men and women into Salvation. That’s our ministry! That’s our responsibility! This is the time! The time is now!  Our Lord and Savior is soon to return!  The clock is ticking!  …If our gospel be hid it is hidden to them that are lost (2nd Corinthians 4:3). What are you going to do?

Sal.1

Revelation 20:11-15King James Version (KJV)

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

WHAT IS PRAYER?

  1. A. Prayer Is Talking With God.

Prayer is two-way communication with God. God speaks to us by His Spirit… (John 10:2-4, 27; 1 Corinthians 2:10-13; John16:13; 1 Kings 19:12; Acts 10:19, 11:12; Jeremiah 33:3).

~~~ In our spirit, we hear His voice
~~~ Through His written Word (the Bible)

~~~ Through preaching, teaching and through others
~~~ Through circumstance

~~~ Audibly ( Exodus 3:4, Acts 9:4)
1 Corinthians 2:10 – But God has revealed them to us through by His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
 1 Corinthians 2:12 – Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
  1. B. Listening To His Voice
It is so important that we take time to listen to His voice, and not just speak to Him. After you have spoken to the Lord, wait for Him to speak. I always begin this time by saying to the Lord, “Yes, Lord, Yes”. We should prepare our hearts to hear and to obey what the Lord speaks to us.
It is so important that we understand that prayer is two-way communication. We speak to Him and He speaks to us. (John 16:13, Acts 10:19, 11:12, 13:2) God has ordained prayer to affect the outcome of our spiritual and physical matters.
 (Jeremiah 33:3; John 14:13; James 4:2-3; 5:16-18; 1 John 5:14-15) Jeremiah 33:3 – Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.
James 5:16b – …The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
John 14:13 – And whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE BORN AGAIN? THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND
John 3:18 says, He that believeth on Him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
The New Birth / Born Again
There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again. ‘The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.” “How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked. Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.” John 3:1-21 NLT
